It is finished!!
I made a tree from from wool!!!! :evillaugh:

I could have done it faster, but inserting the wiring is a tedious job. :faint:

My partner ~mistercarrot took the picture. :)

EDIT:

Sounds interesting, but I doubt I will find any time for it. Today I spend mostly with cleaning and making a gift for someone on #Artcrossing. Tomorrow we are going to Parkpop in Den Haag. I hope the weather will be fine.
But first I am going to finish the day with a pizza and and evening on the couch. :)
See you
Anna

:faint: So much work!

I could maybe braid just a few leaves,
or I could felt some leaves...
but first I'll take a brake. :sleepy:

It's made from a thick carpet wool which is made of 100% sheep wool.
I have a lot of this stuff, so I was experimenting on what to do with it.

:D Optical Illusion. ;P
My tree is only about 40cm big.
My partner had to lie flat on his tummy to take the pictures. :D

 Actually it's supposed to be a fun not grammatically correct way of saying I finished it. It's a bit of a direct translation of a funny German way of saying it. Although it should probably be more like "Me finished".
But I think I'll just change it into It is finished. I think that fits better with the rest of the description.

from the beginning on this looked impressive. But standing there in the evening sun...with real trees as background it really came to life.

it was a treat making these pictures of it. Even if it ment lying flat down on the gras for it. The whole two meters of me..lol.

Not all that fluffy... it's full of wires.
But my partner already requested a willow-tree with hanging branches for his birthday. That would be fluffy. :)
