A new dress - sleeves

These are the sleeves of the new dress I recently made.
I made the pattern from scratch by tugging some thin fabric in the armhole until I considered it to fit nicely and then trace the outline and cut along it. In the second step I temporarily fixed this fabric along the outline and started to pin the shape of the sleeve along my arm. In the last step I made the pattern symmetrical by equaling out any unsymmetrical lines. Because the sleeve is quite wide at the shoulder I decided not to add any gussets.
