A new dress - neckline

After I helped my partner to make braies and hosen [link] for a medieval market, I decided I needed a new dress too.
I already had a general idea for a dress, but wasn't sure on the exact placements of things.
So I started with the basis and decided on the placement of the gores and sleeves as I went.
I decided on lacing at the sides which I had to install before deciding on the placements of the lower front and back gores, because the lacing will pull the fabric up.

Here I am working on the neckline, while being supervised by Gizmo.
The exact shape of the neckline is copied from one of my t shirts.
